Looking for 3rd Party Testing company
In the Southern California area I am looking for Labs or solid research from a third party company to check out and report on an aerodynamic concept. Any suggestions?

The NASA Ames research center.
I know they are not in the SoCal area but no one will question their findings. |
Nasa
Thanks oil pan 4. I found that they are up around San Jose. And yes that would be a serious 3rd Party Reference! Will check it our further, fearing that it will be quite pricey.

If it is already a ready model car check a2 wind tunnel:
A2WT HomePage That is one of the cheapest places. What is your budget? what are your goals? cd, lift downforce etc. What needs to be tested? |
back to you Vekke
Thanks Vekke, the website looks just like what I need to do. It is on the other side of the map, but I'm originally from Tennessee & could make a nice trip. Budget is tight so I'm looking for a reasonable way to do this testing. Wondering if a University student might embrace the project. Improvement on the Coefficient of Drag is one of the main things I'm looking for. Also want to get some more ducks in a row before I divulge more.
Thanks so much, GBld |
If you are on a tight budget, you can test aero modifications yourself. Start here: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...ery-11445.html.
Then search this site for coastdown tests. |
Thanks
Thank you JRMichler. Yes, very helpful. I like the A-B-A format. When able, I plan to go beyond this self testing model to the A2 labs in North Carolina unless something better presents itself.
Thanks again, GBld |
