...tip: find a larger diameter (and taller too, if possible) intake air-cleaner & air filter assembly.

...with more surface area per volume, there'll be less impedance to airflow, and thus easier "breathing" of the engine, both for FE as well as HP at wot.

...also, those large diameter "straight-through" mufflers are the beginnings of today's "fart-can" mufflers seen on too many rice-rocket vehicles.

Haha funny but i never use WOT on this car driving, this was just for a soundclip, my stock air cleaner with the K&N does the job just fine

and i don't like the sound of straight through mufflers I got this muffler cause it's chambered and still produces a nice amout of backpressure, there's a reason this post is in the OFF TOPIC part of the forum because I just was curious about how it sounded to you guys i know some of ya are still muscle car people at heart

..."easier" breathing also benefits FE too, the engine has lower pumping (suction) loss.

Sorry, that just *screams* hick :P

I personally hate the sound of lo-po v8's with exhaust, especially flowmasters. Probably because where Im from EVERY pickup has loud exhausts. Gets really obnoxious after a while.

My low compression turbo 4 is pretty quiet with a full 3" exhaust and magnaflow straight thru muffler.

haha people with magnaflow are not allowed to comment on exhaust they have the ALMOST performance muffler sound where you can't really tell if it's stock or not
