Maybe a new Fiesta?

It never takes long for a new car model to get in an accident.
Maybe my next RIDE.

As long as the front unibody isn't all jacked you'd be okay. It looks like 3 airbags went off, so those and the interior trim would need replacing, along with the mechanical stuff that was crunched. Although if the car goes for $4k and you spend $7k to fix it, $11k for a new Fiesta is a steal.

Unibody looks in good shape - its as if the just peeled the fender off. Fender, hood, airbags, might need suspension/steering/drivetrain parts for that wheel, but I'd hit it.

I can't believe one crinkled fender is $9100 in damage.

The Fiesta is probably at the top of my list right now, but I won't be in the market for another couple of years. It just seems like Ford is at the top of their game right now, while Toyo and Honda are stuck in the past.

Can you tell from the pics if it's a standard or auto?

2136 miles...Man that sure was short-lived. Could be turn out to be a good investment.

It's a bit more than a fender.
Hood. Bumper. One headlight gone.

At least 4 airbags deployed (at least over here it'd be illegal not to reinstall them) ripping up the interior / dashboard in the process.

Looks like the front suspension mount is ripped as well.

Those 32psi cold are plainly ridiculous BTW.

It's an auto.

Everything depends on the price. When a car is that new the used parts are tough to find, and you might end up sitting on it for months or more looking for decent used parts.

The airbags are a big minus since they probably eat up at least 40 percent of the total repair cost. On the other hand the 9100 repair cost is only about half of the cash value before collision.

On my Altima the repair estimate was 14k out of 18k cash value on a car that was originally about 30k sticker (loads of options).

I'm on the fence on this one. Think I'll hit it with a low bid and see if I can get it cheap. I doubt it will happen but with another one nailed in the rear end (no air bags) the two could make a good combination for one repaired and a lot of spare parts. I have seen 3 repaired cars from one parts car.
