This deserves a bump for a great video that is easy to understand with good, clear graphics.

He built the model in Blender. And simulated CFD in some other software.

The day will come when you can do the CFD right in Blender, with OpenVDB and it's physics engine, and the complete work flow through animation and video compositing all in the one application. That will be glorious*.

*which is a weird word to spell or say over and over. :)
