just thought i would intro myself i will get some pics of my car soon i plan to start ecomodding my 2005 hilux deisel ute with mixed driveing it gets around 28mpg us

on long highway runs i often see 35mpg but hopeing to tidy up my average to 30+mpg

mods done are
k&n air filter
egr delete
cat converter delete
full moon hubs
synthetic oil

planned mods
lower ride height
tune engine
better exhaust flow
i would love to regear car to lower rpm at 110kmh

any ideas anyone has whould be great

Is it a 4x4? Love to see some pictures. I've got a 2.4 liter 4x4 Toyota gasser pickup I get 30mpg with mild hypermiling; with same techniques and a diesel you should easily get 40mpg.

Its a 4x2 hilux

I have to tidy up my driving style but I do lot of long distance driving in it so hypermileing can get tiresome so I hopeing a few mods can assist in gaining a few MPG
