Saw a short video of a guy trying to break into a Benz this AM. He threw a brick at the right door glass and it (the brick) bounced off the glass and hit him in the face and knocked him out!!!!! Apparently the car owner found the unconscious potential thief on the gorund next to his car.

Now I don't know this young mans history or situation, but it hasn't improved. I did find it entertaining. The owner has some special glass installed maybe?

Probably not. Window glass is difficult to break with an impact from such as a hammer or indeed a brick. It is easy to break with a concentrated impact such as a when hit with a pin punch, spark plug or one of the tools designed to aid escape from a damaged vehicle.

When I lived in D.C., I heard a very sharp sound, immediately looked, and saw a hammer flying off a car window. I do not know who was wielding it or why they were trying to break the window, but we laughed at the guy that had a hammer bounce on him.

I imagine that plenty of people manage to break car windows, though.
