Metro owners: SG "load" gauge (LOD) only goes up to 30?
I haven't been using the SG2's LOD gauge much, but called it up on the way back from the Halifax airport yesterday and noticed it only goes up to max 30 with the pedal pressed to the mat in the Firefly.
My dad's Corolla seems to be a 0-100 scale (SG1, though). Any other Suzukiclone owners noticed this? |
Never mind. I got it to go higher by revving the engine higher.
LOD in this car appears to be showing a percentage of some theoretical max power estimate based on displacement and air consumption. What I was expecting to see was "100%" LOD with my foot to the floor regardless of engine speed. But it'll apparently only show "100%" when I've got it wound out to 5500 RPM or wherever this motor makes its max HP or torque. |
You must have thick mats :p
That is interesting. On both my cars it goes too 99 if I floor it. |
Doesn't it drive you mad that you're missing that last 1%? :)
