Hi everyone!

You need to make it to the MREA Energy Fair! It's June 19-21, 2009 in Custer, Wisconsin.

This is a BIG fair with LOTS of cool things at it, including an alternative car show (which I will be demonstrating at! Ryland too, I would imagine!)

It would be a great place for Ecomodders to meet up at! There is camping available there as well!

Was there last year for half a day. It was very cool.

Aww, I won't be in america. I wonder if that girl from hybrid fest will be there.

I bet she will be there, everyone who is anyone is there, over 20,000 people should be there this year, that is more people then populate the city I live in.
I'll be there with my green commuti-car and maybe my blue citi-car as well, friend of mine should be bringing his electric trike again.
Had a beer this evening with 3 of their staff and they said they are still looking for more electric cars, they get two passes in to the fair for the weekend (normally around $20 each) just send an Email to info@the-mrea.org
This is event tries to have something for everyone and for what you can learn is extremely affordable without extra fees for any of the workshop/classes, music or anything, you can talk to everyone and learn it all.
They also have great beer.

Just remember to bring your own glass! The commemorative beer glasses run out fast!

The show was lots of fun!

I dragged the Electro-Metro and the Electric motorcycle up to the clean car show to display for the whole event.

Fellow Ecomodder Ryland was there both as a hard-core volunteer AND showing off his all-electric Commuta-Car.

Last year, I lost my voice talking to people for three days straight! Now, I have a stereo installed in the Electro-Metro with MP3 playback. I recorded an MP3 file of me talking about the car, and let that run on repeat on the car stereo all weekend. It saved my voice. I still talked to tons of people, but my car could talk to them too while I was away looking at the rest of the fair!

PS! Ryland, if you are reading this, the First Aid Tent hijacked my good yellow EV Charging extension cord! Guess I will have to be back next year to get it....
