I actually had zipties holding it together for the past 2 years. my dad used to use zipties on his ae86 and 240 when he drifted. He said he would rather the zipties break and verses the bumper rip and get completely destroyed

I went with a belly pan instead of an air dam. (I have broken/ripped loose air dams in normal driving in 2 other cars). The Coroplast has held up to winter driving for 15 years. Seal up around the rear fenders and perhaps add a drain hole at the low point. Be sure to really seal the front edge, so it doesn't get ripped off by the wind and you may need to make more allowances for the exhaust on your car. My car is a diesel and has much cooler exhaust than a gasoline engine vehicle.
The power needed to push an object through a fluid increases as the cube of the velocity. Mechanical friction increases as the square, so increasing speed requires progressively more power.
