Modifying Alternator to Motor
 

I am checking into modifying alternators to be used as front wheel motors on a 3 wheel hybrid I am trying to design. Specifically, I need info about installing hall effect sensors. Thanks for any input.

Curious, I spent some time doing the same thing. The wind power guys make a PM rotor for delco alternators.
