MREA Energy Fair was great
 

I was able to attend the MREA fair in Custer, WI on Saturday, and what a treat. I finally got to meet Ben in person, along with Ryland, Jim (Ovaloverload), and Dave. Ben did a fantastic presentation for the "Build your own electric car" seminar. The tent was packed with standing room only and people standing all along the walls of the tent. And we're talking BIG tent. Ben said he was a little nervous, but you never would have known it. He was great, and funny, and at the end when he asked if there were any questions, about 50 hands went in the air. I didn't realize there were so many people interested in converting cars. It was a blast and I can't wait until next year so I can attend all three days.

Hondo

I missed Bens presentation, likely was good. I managed to tick off Dave (I think)

Seemed a little smaller this year though, vendor wise. Not many of the solar folks knew any safe method of mounting a framed panel on a van.

I guess try the angle iron method and hope for the best.
