Which Mufflers are best for Fuel economy

I know lots of factory mufflers are pretty restrictive which can affect fuel economy.

I've never seen any studies on these but I was figuring, though i don't like magnaflow or corsa exhaust ( because i prefer the chambered sound of flowmaster). When you really think about it magnaflow and corsa would probably be the most efficient aftermarket mufflers because they are straight through desings...
Flowmaster probably is betttrer than most stock mufflers but not the most efficient.
And i know cherry bombs and glasspacks are probably the worst because they are veeery restrictive

Anyone know any fuel economy differences between mufflers?

There are 2 years worth of threads and probably 100 years worth of data that you can read through on this site...

You didn't look through it all in 2 days.

Remember the 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 mouth analogy?

It's really helpful when people look for the answer to their question before posting it. This keeps server traffic down, and keeps information tightly knit in the existing threads. From time to time, new information will come to light, and often, it will be posted in a new thread, rather than in an existing thread. As much as possible, when the topic matches an existing thread, we try to keep it in there.

Our moderators (Hey, guys!) go to great lengths to keep this place organized and especially neat, so that information is easy to find for lurkers and members alike.
