By the math it should of been around 29:1 AFR. That was under perfect conditions.

The car has been through a bunch of changes, at the point I needed to make it safe to race so it now has a cage and a lot of safety gear. The good news its about 200lbs lighter, the bad news it has a race head on it with race cams and all the FE items removed.

Good to hear from you again!

The current situation is drawing interest back to fuel economy. Not everyone can afford a Tesla.

I've been re-reading this entire thread twice a year r so for the last 6 or so years. I'm always amazed at what you've done here.

I wanna see if you can push it even further!

Thank You!!!
I've decided to make it a dual purpose FE/HP car. I'm going to detune the engine and make my 71 Camaro the high HP car from this point forward. As of now the Talon is the test bed for GEM fuel that the Camaro will inherit. The Camaro will be a 4G63 2.0L turbo compound setup that will make around 1300HP.

The Talon will have a new turbo that is a 51mm compressor wheel compared to the 61mm its running now. The exhaust turbine wheel/housing will be much smaller also. I'm going to install my old lean burn/low lift head back on it with the FE cams. I'll add all the new information here and resume my FE garage mpg status.

You heard wrong, no issues since the engine was built back in 2014.
