Do not believe you will have more time available when you retire.

Talon engine is in its new home.

Well making some progress and finally got the Talon engine sitting in the Camaro. Just wanted to show what it looks like with the Turbo Compound setup.

As of now the Talon is the test bed for GEM fuel that the Camaro will inherit. The Camaro will be a 4G63 2.0L turbo compound setup that will make around 1300HP.

The Talon will have a new turbo that is a 51mm compressor wheel compared to the 61mm its running now. The exhaust turbine wheel/housing will be much smaller also. I'm going to install my old lean burn/low lift head back on it with the FE cams. I'll add all the new information here and resume my FE garage mpg status.

Camaro Engine
I found this post, and now understand there are two cars being experimented on.

Amazing goals and results.

Over my head most of it.

Thanks for the post.

I've been doing a lot of wiring lately. Installing both computers, the engine management system and the AEM data computer.

Also, I've been finalizing my g-force algorithm that has taken me almost 6 months to complete. I've been testing with real life data that I collected from some side-by-side g meter racing, then tweaking my algorithm to match. The variables and massive amounts of inputs have been exhausting.

The other thing I've been working on is a new fuel. This will be game changer for my engine.

One other thing I've been keeping a close eye on is the new 2.0L Hurricane 4 turbo engine (GME T4 Evo) that debuts in the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee. A closer look at this shows this has some of my ideas incorporated in its new design. Thankfully it's missing a lot and will only produce subpar results. Plus, just the fact they put in the Jeep Grand Cherokee shows me they aren't too serious when it comes to FE.

I hope all is well with you and your family.

A new fuel? Tell us more?

Are many of the OEMs *that* concerned with petrol fuel economy when they can just partially or completely electrify their vehicles and get bigger gains, more cheaply?

On the new fuel it's still an aromatic solvent that has a faster burn rate to help with the extreme lean air fuel ratios.

On the OEM's interest in Gasoline FE I believe they are only interested when their competition starts to make major gains in this area. The other factor is the CAFE rule and as of right now with the current administration that has took a turn towards reducing the fleet mpg so it's less likely for them to have to produce more FE type of vehicles IMO.

Oh, and I agree that it's much easier for them to produce an EV or HEV, PHEV. But with that said on my setup this would be a very simple application to implement into their engine build. This would increase their HEV and PHEV FE by at least 30%.
