My Brand New CRX HF
4 Attachment(s)
That's right. Just picked it up yesterday. Brand new 1989 CRX HF. 190,000 miles on it. Nearly stock with me being pretty much the 2nd owner. She needs a bit of work, but it should be a 60+ mpg car within a few weeks.
Not sure yet how extensively I'm planning on modifying it. Since it is almost 20 years old, I don't think I'll get too excited about "restoring" it into mint condition. Therefore... I might be up for some more radical designs. I'm thinking I would go half as far as the aerocivic, spend slightly more on it, but have it be a car that I like to look at. But, I don't want to get too excited about the aero mods until I actually start them. As far as a VX swap, I'm in no hurry. After reading SVO's log about his swap, I don't think I want to go through the hassel, not as long as my current motor still works, that is. The pictures are from the craigslist ad. |
looks like some rice boy put headers on it

Yeah, very shiny headers. Brand new exhaust too. You can see your reflection in the muffler even...
There's also a special tailpipe (said he paid $550 for it) to make it sound like a big lawnmower. Any takers on buying that from me? |

I had a 1988 CRX HF back in the early 90's. I loved that car Sporty enough but great mpg's! I may need to begin looking for one myself. Most of the CRX's I've seen in Denver are pretty beaten and or have 400hp and a turbo with 20" wheels!

And an aftermarket air intake?
Nice find m8 |

Great choice, looks pretty cherry from the pix.
Planning on rear skirts? A crx pulls em off well, looks like a oldschool Insight. Have fun hitting 60+ |
