We would need a side shot of the car to compare it with the template.

i request a more side pic of the whole car as it sits now. Not an angled pic like this one. I want this so i can put the aero template to it and see how good it is. either way it should be an improvement.

Not sure how long the tape will hold up but I'm very interested to see your results. Did you rivet the sides right to the body?

How did you get the plexiglass skirts to flex out at the front to clear the lower half of the wheel/tire?

Your headed in the right direction,and as soon as we get an image we 'll be able to tell about the downslope.
One thing I want to mention is that these rooflines need some softened edges where the roof and sides come together.With a hard intersection they're prone to create longitudinal vortices which have remarkably high drag.
Here's an image of Kamm's personal car and one of his wind tunnel models with the hard edges.You can see the tufts 'flying' into the vortices,the whole length of the car.http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/...3-29BampW1.jpg

A fitst step, however ugly, is better than not taking the step. Like 99% of us. Great job, I can't wait to see how it gets over time!

Do you plan on changing it? Absent the requested side view, I'd say "Not higher—longer." It appears to be sway-backed, The center could be a few inches higher making a convex curve. Lay a flexible strip on the roof and let it sag to the 12° angle and follow that.

Notice the way Redneck handled the rear wheelwells on his Geo XL1, smoothing over the wheel arch and bumper.

How stiff is the clear material you used (I assume that rectangle on top is clear as well)? If it vibrates, that is unhelpful.

Here's what I meant by "lay a flexible strip on the roof". I used 16' long wood strips because I was interested in the windshield area as well.
