Need new tires
Hi Guys, I just bought an Integra. It needs tires, and the tires that come with it are 195/55/15.
My question: Buying 185/65/15 a good idea? -Decrease wheel patch so less engine work maybe enough to take advantage of the... -Increase wheel diameter? Other thoughts-Going to put headlight covers and lowering car. |
we need info on the car rpm @60, mostly city driving ? highway? auto-manuel? 4cyl? 6cyl?

also study the rolling resistance of tires,, look at the tire rack prius llr tire compareison,, tires made as much as 4mpg difference (all the same size) im eyeballing the ecopias they were # 2 on that test and are good wet weather tires also.(florida is rainy) you still did not give enough info,, if you drive all highway, it might help your mpg going a little taller/if you drive alot of stop and go it could hurt your mpg,.

Im sorry for being vague...mostly in-town suburban driving. I figured narrow is always better. And because of the narrow tire, the engine would need to do less work, so could handle running less rpm with a taller tire.
