Thumbs up New to this site.

Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce my self. I live Southern Ontario, Canada and drive a 09 Vibe ( aka Matrix ) during the cooler months. It is a 2.4 liter with a stick shift and very good on long trips to Florida.
My normal mode of transportation is a Kawasaki W650 which has been put away now the snow is here.
My wife's car is a 03 Cooper S, stick shift which is a great city car plus it goes like a bat out of hell.
I am hoping to pick up some Ecomod tips from this site.

Thanks, Neddy

Welcome to the site. The Matrix is a pretty capable car. I loved the mileage mine got in combination with the hauling room.

For mod ideas you can take a look at what I did to mine. The key though is driving style.

Yup, they are made in England by BMW. A very strong and safe car, and reliable.

Hi, yes we both taught to drive in England many years ago and there was no such thing as a automatic then. We both do not like driving Automatics. I guess it's stick what you are use to.

I'm also new and own a 2007 mini cooper s in blue with a white stripe. I will post pics later on. Yes Mini used to be 100% british but is now owned by BMW who in my opinion have done a great job with it. In my opinion stick is the only way to drive!
