Neverwet for Glass
Rustoleum has finally released their Neverwet Rain Repellent for Glass. It's an alternative to Rain-X. It appears that they are rolling it out slowly, test marketing in select areas.

Rustoleum followed someone else into the market. I think it all derives from Nano Clear
Nanovere Technologies, LLC. Industrial Coatings | Industrial Paints And Coatings | Nanovere Technologies They claim a 10 year service life. The trick must be encumbered by patents. ;) The little nano-scale glass lozenges are supposed to adhere through van der Waals forces once the carrier evaporates. |
I just bought some of this 'Permanent' coating:

Not much rain here in Arizona, either.
The first time I needed to replace my wipers, I put the arms in my trunk so the sun would not kill them. Hey, better fuel economy, too! :D |
