NEW! 72 Beetle!
HI!
I heard of the AEROCIVIC through CarDomain.com. I'm now considering modding my '72 Beetle. I'm just now 16 and I have a limited budget, so I may not be able to spend time on the car. |
Welcome. well the Bug should be an easy car to drive efficiently because of its simplicity. Read up on the driving tips and start keeping an accurate log, I am curious what a little careful driving will yield with a bug ...

I'd check out
thesamba.com for all help as well as get How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive 19 Ed: A Manual of Step-by-Step Procedures for the Compleat Idiot by John Muir I have one and i don't even own a beetle.. I bought it in anticipation of owning one. It was like $18 at Books a Million |
My parents used to have a '70's beetle in the '80's that I believe would get over 40mpg just by being in good running condition, so with better tires, better oils, better ignition, better tools, you should be able to do... better.
