new 95 del Sol Vtec
 

Heya,

I'm Fletcher and I just bought a 95 del Sol Vtec. For those who know about the del sol, there is the base(S, 1.5sohc), the mid(Si 1.6sohc) and the top(Vtec 1.6dohc). I've owned a ton of cars in the past and in my current situation i want a fun to drive car that is economical at the same time. I would like to to be more economical while having a bit of power to boot. I would like to be able to get 7L/100km or less. My first tank of gas was roughtly 10-11L/100km. I expect it to get better as I get used to it and learn to control my need to use vtec:P

My current other cars are a 2000 civic 4 door and gets about 32mpg in mixed city driving which i'm pretty happy about and a 02 slk32 amg which has just over 6,100km on the clock which is about 3800 miles. Its a pig, but it serves another purpose quite well.

Plans for the delSol include an intake to help it breath a bit better and i'm considering the underbody panel and wheel skirts. I want to keep it cosmetically stock or close to it.

Still a lot of reading to do here!
