New CRX HF Owner from Tennessee!
 

I am the new (2nd) owner of a 1991 CRX HF in excellent shape. It was purchased new at the dealer near where I live by a man who recently retired and no longer needed the car. He said he did every recommended service at the dealer including oil changes, it was emissions tested every year. He said he rarely ever drove it faster than 55mph and was a old school hypermiler. I drove it like crazy on the way home from picking it up, but this next tank I'm expecting about 50MPG. That seems really high compared to CRXs on Fuelly/Ecomodder, but he said he normally got 50-55MPG when driving it daily. We'll see how it goes!

Welcome! I don't get that high daily but am able to break into the 60's on long trips.

Mine is a 1st gen. '87 No external mods yet, just the nut behind the wheel!

My best thus far is 62.9mpg.

Thanks! Nice, Larry, the fuel gauge isn't accurate enough to tell with any certainty, but I have used a tiny bit less than a half tank and I've driven 200.2 miles.
