New Ecomodder in Miami!
 

Hello there! My name is Juan and I am located in South Florida. I've recently been highly interested in saving gas, because of the environment and my pocket! Right now I'm driving a 1992 Chevy Van :turtle:, but am going to switch to an early 90's Honda Civic Hatchback. The fuel saving would be astronomical compared to what I get now hahah Any other Ecomodders in South Florida?

Miami here also and I just joined yesterday.

If you can live with out a back seat check out the 90 to 91 Honda CRX HF, I used to have one and it's a great platform to start with. 52mpg Hwy.

Hey Gus, thanks for the advice. I'd be willing to go for any Honda, except for the fact that, since I play upright bass, I need a car that has enough space to transport it back and forth. I've heard hatchbacks do the trick, and Honda's reliability and fuel efficiency made it the top contender in my book. Also my budget is kinda low, so I'm pretty much looking at the 92-95 Civic Hatch's. Their look and trunk space are like a match made in heaven for me!

The CRX will have the space in the hatch, just no rear seat. Excellent little car and lots of room behind the front seats.
