When a big car company ecomods

Here's a blog I picked up in another group of which I'm a member (Running on Empty 2, regarding peak oil and related issues).

In my blog I mentioned that it was unlikely that we'd be driving tandem cars, it could be that I'm wrong.

In any case, this is what can happen when billions of dollars are available for "ecomodding."

Sure look sweet. "They" are always crying about us going to work alone in our cars and that we should carpool. Well, this solves that in style! Any takers as to how long it'll be before we see these on the road as much as, say, a prius? I'll settle with 15 years.

hey PA32R

do you own a Lance/Saratoga? I've got most of my time in a Seneca (same basic airframe).

Yeah, I have a 1981 Saratoga I bought in 2001. Talk about high fuel prices...

I'd buy one if they would ever sell it, unfortunately most people want everything in there lives to look like something that will fit in with what every one else would like. I get made fun of all the time for my car, by people at red lights ,in parking lots, and by family members. They all want to drive boring cars that look like everyone else's car.

And by turning your car off at the lights etc. makes you look poor or that you have failed in life. Well, here's to looking poor then!
Anyway, when we talk about how many mpg we do and therefore the cost per mile. We get the last laugh. Because we have them when they talk about: 1:Road deaths, 2: Costs of running a car, 3: Carbon credits/offsets etc.
The list goes on.

I think some LED running lights might be a good investment in those weather conditions.
Love that car.
