Hey, just read about this site on Edmunds.com. I am a member over on priuschat.com and am probably the youngest Prius driver out there. I am into the whole hypermilling thing, but so far the best I can get is 49.9 mpg on one tank thanks to all the hills around here. Will be fueling up tomorrow and using nothing but gas saving techniques and trying to break the 50 mark

Depending on the hills, you might be able to use them to your advantage!

What's your total commute like?

Well, i dont have a set commute but its mostly downhill for 1 mile then i have stored enough energy in my batteries to go in stealth to the school to get my brother. Then come home up the same hill.

To go to work i go down the same hill, and turn left down another light hill which i try to coast down and hopefully hit the light and then if i do i usually go EV.

I couldnt really tell you but that 1-1.5 mile uphill kills me. My area has tons of hills, anywhere you go theres an up or downhill slope

Well, that's a bummer, :p. But I guess it's better than being at the bottom of a hill, :)

Heard about a modification to make the Prius use more electric and less gas in that movie Who Killed The Electric Car, have you seen the movie? I think it made the Prius more like a plug in electric, they also claimed 125MPG. I believe it was a computer mod.
