New guy here, but not new to the world of high MPGs
Hello all.

I have lurked here from time to time, and thought I would finally join ranks.

As the thread title states, I am new here but not to the world of caring what kind of MPGs a vehicle gets.

My dad taught me at a young age that while its fun to burn fuel and burn rubber in your toys (we collect old Mopars) that your daily driver ought to be as efficient as possible.

That said, being from a farming background, we love little diesel vehicles...

We have amassed quite the collection at this point, lol.

Looking forward to chatting, learning, and hopefully contributing. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum.

What's your MPG machine these days?

Feel free to add it to the garage too.

I'm also favorable to Diesels, altough I'm probably more addicted to them than you. As much as I like some V8 gassers, I'd always rather get a Diesel...

Two years later, I see I never did a very good job of following up... whoops.

My list of small diesels...
2004 VW Jetta TDI x2
1998 VW Beetle TDI x2
1991 VW Jetta IDI
1986 Escort Diesel
1985 Lynx Diesel
1984 Escort Diesel
1982 Mazda B2200 Diesel
1981 Chevette Diesel
1981 Chevy LUV Diesel x6

And the newest member of the family (and first non diesel) is Basic, my 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage, which is a fantastic little car. Can't say enough about that thing.

Congrats on the new Mirage. I drove one recently. I really liked it too.
