New guy needs 5 posts

Lurking a while here. I'm a legit person, nothing to sell, I don't want your money, or have a cashiers' check I need cashed. I need 5 posts to posts links, which I want to do, so a I guess an intro thread will get up my count!

I'm an automotive engineer. Working on racecars these days. My background is in powertrain, but I've been to the wind tunnel with a racecar, and understand what's going on.

I have an Escort Wagon daily driver that I've gotten as much as 40 MPG going 65MPH for a tankful. Love that '90s technology.

"Welcome Aboard."

Your motorhome numbers sound very familiar: I drove a Condor Van (390 Ford industrial engine & automatic tranny) "instrumentation" van from U.S. Army Yuma Proving Gound, Yuma, AZ, to and back from Fayetteville, NC, back in 1973 and got 8 mpg at 55 mph (OPEC oil embargo was in progress and 55 mph was the "National" speedlimit)...and, the "tongue-in-cheek" descriptive terms "aero-barn" and "aero-brick" come to mind.
