I never saw that one, but I was in Afghanistan for what I figure the entire 2011YM production time would have ran and then some. That's when I joined here.

If all of the Nissan Leafs were built in a single factory, this recall would still only cover about 500 cars at best, but Nissan has 3 factories building Leafs.

My parents just bought a used Leaf and they already had a few "Recalls" in the form of a soft ware upgrades, but if they had been told that they would get a brand new car at the dealer I think they would be ok with that.

Much better then owning a Jeep from the mid 1990's that would do things like catch on fire when you turn the key off.

I'd bolt a piece of angle iron across the offending area and call 'er good :thumbup:

I think I'd rather have a few missing welds than missing brake pads! (GM Sonic recall reference)

Shame they won't let us buy these (cut in half for liability reasons) leafs to use for home builds. Maybe they'll donate them to some universities or something other than crushing.

Brake pads?!?!?! We dont need no stinking brake pads!!! Just put them in the bucket with the turn signals and parking brakes. :thumbup:
