Hi Metro,
I have installed a small bib spoiler on the front.
Air flow around the rear is a major issue.
Drivers of the sedan version are commonly getting 10-15% better fuel consumption.
Something needs to be done about the flow on the sides of the car at the rear.
Full wheel spats with something behind to separate the flow would be good, but probably won’t be happening.
Looking for something like a small, self-adhesive gurney flap to clean up flow on the sides.
I will have to work on a picture to show this better.

I can see why the sedan does better, it has a well-optimized roofline [over less space].

A six speed manual (stick shift) in this car would be brilliant.

In regards to air separation edges at the rear corners, I'd try some adhesive weather strip (with a triangular section) as an inexpensive trial.
I've bought some at Bunnings in the past.

Even a CVT could've been more reliable than that dry-clutch DSG. Wet-clutch DSGs were supposed to be more reliable, yet I won't hold my breath for it...

I have 180,000km (110,000miles) on the wet clutch.
No problems (touch wood).

A few guys on the Ford forums here in Oz have had issues, but it seems more related to input sensors than the gearbox itself. Cost of rectification is still exorbitant!

I met a guy who owned a Mexican-made Fiesta with the dry-clutch DCT, and had the entire transmission replaced on warranty.
