Howdy, Insighter here

Yes, I have two Honda Insights (gen 1). My first is a red 2000 I've had since '05 and the latest is an '03 silver with a bad battery pack that's getting a new pack from Bumblebee Batteries of Portland OR. I also put a new catalytic and clutch in the silver, but she's got 333K miles and a lifetime mpg of 63.7. I currently have the silver battery pack out and am puzzled at how to remove the orange end panels on each end of the 6 battery "sticks". If anyone knows or has a link, that would be appreciated. Oh yeah, has anyone found a 165 wide tire that is not Bridgestone or the pricey Michelin? Later.

Why move away from the Bridgestone? It's got great low rolling resistance. You'll likely take a hit in any other tire that size.

FYI, for fun: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...eet-19126.html
