New Member, Long Time Lurker

Just joined. I have been eco-driving for some time. My current commute is 50 miles each way. But 46 of it is highway. I have a 2004 Dodge Neon with 5spd manual. Using a Scangage I usually can get between 35 (winter) and 42 mpg (summer). Currently I am averaging 38+. I started tracking every fillup using my Droid smartphone in March.

One Question, How do I get my stats in my signature? Thanks for all the ideas!

Welcome!

To get stats you need to have 10 posts I think.

And have your car in the garage to pull the data from

I got my car in the Garage, but I guess I will need to post a few to get to the 10. Thanks.

Welcome to EM:)
Hickory, NC has some mighty nice hills for coasting, yes it does:cool:

Once you get past the minimum post count to be able to have a signature (sorry for the pain, but it helps us fight spammers), then check out this thread:

Thanks for the info! The problems with all the hills is climbing them before getting to coast down! LOL! So how does someone from Poland know about the hills of Hickory?

Weight reduction!! Yeah, the car too;) That really helps when it comes to climbing hills.

I spent a few years in NC a while back. That was way before EcoModder started, but I was already coasting down hills, even though NC law prohibits it:p
