Hi everyone ,please excuse my english if it's not always perfect.Cause im actually french . Looking forward to learn from all of your experiences .Cause im looking to buy a Jetta TDI. I will be buying fairly old one in between the 97s and 2001 range .But i will be rebuilding it and trying to make it as fuel efficient as possible.

I am starting from scratch ,knowledge wise . So if anyone has any opinions on the car to buy ,and what to look for .Please post and all your suggestions will be appreciated. I will be buying within the next week or two .I have already got a few prospects . But i want to take my time .

Welcome to the site Paul. The TDIs are great cars. My sister has a 03 Jetta and loves it.
