Been working on my mileage for a while now. Saw the fuel log with the fancy chart and though I'd put my data in.

I drive a 2001 VW Jetta TDI. Getting 50+mpg now. I *thought* I was getting good mileage before but wasn't tracking it closely. When I started actually crunching the numbers, I found out I was getting only 39mpg. I slowed down first and saw some great improvement. Then I pumped up my tires, saw another great gain.

I'm currently stalled out at about 51mpg and I'm looking to maybe try 'pulse and glide' for part of my 80 mile commute.

Sounds like someone needs a scangauge, ;)

That's a great improvement! I agree -- a ScanGauge is a valuable tool to instantly tell you the "rights and wrongs" of Eco-Driving technique.
