Hello all, my name is Josh and I have a 95 Hyundai Accent base hatchback. I've been obsessed with squeezing as much as I can out of this car for a while before I found this site. The most I've got with my car is 43mpg and that was with no mods and no hypermiling. Unfortunately it isn't running the greatest right now so I'm only getting 41mpg with EOC. Unfortunately money and time is not very plentiful right now but I am going to try some small easy mods to lower my air displacement. I'm asking for a tach and vacuum gauge for Christmas so hopefully I will get those. For you experienced people out there, does anyone know if a 95 Accent has an electronic speed sensor? I would love to have a mpg display but I'm not sure it will work with my car.

I have no idea about the speed sensor, I would recommend a Google search.

Thanks for the welcome guys! If the service people at the dealership don't know about the vss or say there isn't one I think I will try and make one. I read some of the other threads about vss' and It doesn't seem like it would be too hard.
