Aero modding a 4x4

Vehicle; 2009 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 2.7 4cyl 5 spd
Driving environment; Calgary, Alberta 50% city 50% highway ( prairies and mountains) snow is finally melting ( but it will snow here almost every month of the year, that does include june and july even if it doesn't stick)

Goals

1. semi stock appearance or at least live able, sorry guys not a big fan of moonies
2. remain off-road capable, (it is a truck and I do tread lightly when I am off-road) so keeping the ground clearance.

Plans
1. partial grill block
2. bed cover is already on
3. partial belly pan - both mesh and puck board, probably the dirtiest area of the truck next to the bed.

with hypermilling I'm ~10% above epa, dependant on traffic most mods are on the drivers side, alot of pulse and glide (decent sized hills around here) tires at 42psi, and no a/c

will post results sometime this weekend

What is the truck?

If it doesn't have skid plates, you might want to get as many as you can, and fill in the gaps between them with plastic.

Edit: Oh wait your name is CDNTacoma so it's probably a Tacoma

Grille block and sealing the little gaps in the front.

Also a ScanGauge. Best little tool for MPG maximization.

Yeah, I second the call for a ScanGauge or MPGuino if you don't have one already (or OEM instrumentation). Everyone needs a game gauge.
