new vx owner in ATL

Hi new to this forum I am in love with my honda vx. Both of my cars are amazing. I wish I could keep it below 80 mph to get better mpg but its so easy to do in this long geared car. Any ways its still gets about 40 mpg so I can complain. The other one gets 50 mpg at 65 mph since my gf drive that one. Anyways I never hyper mile anything just regular driving. Any ways hi everyone.

If you're going to be spending a lot of time at 80 mph you should aeromod your car to reduce its aerodynamic drag, engine load, and improve its mileage at those speeds. My extensively aeromodded Civic CX with a VX engine gets low 60's mpg at 80 mph, so there is a lot of room for aerodynamic improvement over the stock VX if you are willing to modify its shape.

Yes I have seen what you have done and I hope to start adding things to help it get better mpgs. Your car has a lot of cool diy upgrades. Need to side mirror delete and rear wheel covers and many more.

Agreed on the idea of aeromods. I suggest trying it out first with some simple cardboard and tape mock-ups to see how it affects the car. Then it'll also make it easier to make a long-term solution since you'll have a template to go off of.
