Noob with grannys car
 

A few weeks ago I was getting 16.5mpg out of my 1988 oldsmobile cutlass ciera with a 3.8l v6. Luckily it also has overdrive and multiport fuel injection. I was sick and tired of spending so much on gas. Found this website and got thinking. Changed plugs and wires (+2mpg) pumped tires from 35psi up to 45psi (+1 mpg) and ran 2 doses of fuel injector cleaner (+1mpg). Now keep in mind this is 90% city driving and epa is 17. I know I have alot to learn about this but lets get it done.

Whatever the car, it doesn't matter. Make the best of it and have fun doing it. Trying to drive better every days is a fun challenge

the biggest improvement is always adjusting the nut behind the wheel. and making a game of it to your self.
