Hi, Pretty much new to this, but I have a few questions from the website, it shows that you connect to the OBD port of the car.

If that is true, then the car streams through quite a bit of data on its own without intervention, it seems that PID's are being used.

My question is that are PID's reserved for Diagnostic mode only or can they be used always.

And if the car streams through constant data, how can you just ignore the those messages and filter on the response that you want?

Do the response bytes start with the same header: ID Length Data?
