is this an obd2 port?

i read my haynes manual and i found reference to a diagnostic port. is this obd2? it seems to only have 5 pins (out of 16) in the socket?

That looks like an OBD II port

Yup, that's an OBDII port.

It's the right shape. My car does not have all 16 pins connected either.
