Obeying laws only applies to peeons
 

Iowa's govenor SUV got chased down last summer, the LEO that called it in got fired but it was unrelated. Govenor had no clue his Tahoe was doing 85.

About 95% of politicians enter into politics because they have a take-charge attitude, they like to dominate their women and children, and they are power tripping type-A personalities who feel the need to make the rules so they can break them.

The remaining 0% enter into politics because they feel the call of duty for public service, and want to better the world for us all!

You may have to recalculate your stats to include the 85% of politicians who are useless brown-nosing narcissists with little or no value to add to society except for a career in "politics", and who are sponsored by equally useless morons who have already climbed the "greasy pole" enough to drop them a rope ladder to climb up before they pull it back up themselves and protect their own positions or of those who sponsored them in the past.

Politicians live in a taxpayer funded, leather trimmed, fur lined bubble which "normal" folks struggle to get access to.

And that is politicians of all sides.

Depending on your "status" the laws do not apply to you, but they got to flag you down and run you plate to see if you are one of the 100s of elite few.

This includes female politicians, too, right? :) Are they the reason the statistic is so high? :P

I think the phrase for that is "selective enforcement" of the law. ;)

Unfortunately there isn't any law against those in power who enforce laws selectively. We all are potentially dominated by them, through a campaign of fear.
