Would having ozone in the vicinity of hydrocarbons (diesel) be tantamount to oiling an oxygen regulator on an oxyacetylene welding system,and attendant explosion,when the oxidizer met the 'fuel' ?

I believe it is created on the fly in the airbox or the intake tract.

Oxydizers and combustibles in close proximity is always risky.
