Parting with my HX
Hey guys I need some advice, so the Boss of the house wants to get another car so that means the hx has to go. It's a 97 all stock some dings and scratches hear and there and dry inside. Has 114k on it. What should I ask for it and where is the best place to sell? Timing belt and pump were done at 98k.
Any input would help. Thanks! |
Definitely I would post it here... The Eco designed Civics seem to be in favor... I wouldn't mind one, but you're pretty far away...

Where do you think I should be price wise?

In Rhode island? No clue
For reference in texas a 1996-2000 civic coupe with a manual transmission in excellent condition and bone stock is worth $3000. That is top dollar mint condition car. That's what I sell mine for atleast http://i758.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps864ezlkx.jpg http://i758.photobucket.com/albums/x...psrbdvxes2.jpg If your car is rust free, and only has minor dings and no dents, it can be worth that much. I sell all of my cars exclusively on crailslist with a.detailed ad http://i758.photobucket.com/albums/x...psdpfvgz6h.png They typically sell faster in the summer. I typically do a water pump and timing belt, egr cleaning, and ac service and send them on their way with a clean bill of health. I like to think of it as giving them a new lease on life. But now I'm rambling Bottom line, they are worth whatever isn't available on the market. Browse craigslist to see what similar cars are selling for, if yours is much cleaner then ask more |
