I wonder how much MPG you could get out of these. 2 seats, a steering wheel, and a wide range of engines, from 125cc gas to 400 400cc diesel.

Thougts about these?

Maybe import one to finland. We have the one seater models here, but only moped versions.

The petrol version is rated at 6l/100 km city, I can almost do that in my Kangoo and it's got more than 7kW and a lot more 60km/h top speed. You'd have to have a very specialised use for it to want one.

Might be good for putting around in the city as a utility motorcycle but I don't see that working for a highway commuter.

There is a 400cc diesel option. Could do nice with some aero mods and taller gearing.

These trikes have their limitations, but seem to be a good platform for some efficiency-oriented project.

I think this would be a good Base.

One thing I like about the gasoline-powered engines in the Piaggio Ape is they're 2-stroke. Relatively easy to tune. The problem might be finding a suitable gearing to improve their road performance.
