Planing a trip and looking to make a estimated fuel consumption map.

Im trying to make a map that shows my Time Distance and fuel consumption at any given point, OR have a graph showing the major city.

If anyone could help me with that if would be a great thing!

Welcome!

I work from average mph and average mpg (plus vehicle load in re towing or solo) to come up with probable fuel cpm numbers. This is not a map, but is entirely records-based.

One might use concentric circles, but terrain, road-type, traffic, weather, driver attentiveness, etc make it inaccurate. Even railroads cannot quite do what you ask and their movement conditions are very much controlled by comparison. Exactness, therefore, is best left alone, IMO, and careful records relied upon for estimates. Then the use of time/distance entered based on the drivers experience of the route contemplated.

So long as one knows the minimum amount of fuel required (which includes a generous reserve for the unforeseen), then experience, favorable conditions and some luck whittle down the amount burned.

I would focus on knowing minimums. For me, that is as a cpm fuel cost.
