The day I came home after my last final exam in Winnipeg was the same day my dad brought this *thing* home:

This is the same guy who makes fun of me buying Gloria

What the heck for? I guess it'd be better than a full-size pickup.

MetroMPG 12-20-2007 04:32 PM

Wooo!

Man - there's an ideal platform for an electric city vehicle. :)

I'm guessing he got it as a resto project, yes?

SVOboy 12-20-2007 04:35 PM

Darin, you should convert it!

MetroMPG 12-20-2007 04:38 PM

Peakster, you and your dad should convert it!

Peakster 12-20-2007 04:41 PM

Shockingly, he bought it to restore and replace the 1995 green Silverado in the background. The engine is between the driver and passenger seats (a slant 6). My dad gave me a drive around the cul-de-sac just when our neighbour lady with her new Honda SUV came in and she didn't even look at us.

Any more of this and we'll be completely ostracized from the community :p

I wouldn't want to live in any community that would ostracise a person for driving a classic Fargo!

Ah, so you know what a Fargo is. My dad had to explain to me who made it and it's history. Apparently some famous person customized one to pop wheelies on the race track, and now finding Fargo trucks in original form are tough finds.

What a great find. I like it. I'm with the others, Convert it.:turtle:

That Dodge Bro's sibling might be a nice place to stick a little 37hp diesel...
