Racing EconomyTrucks

Oldie... but definitely a goodie. Them trucks are rare here, but I smile from ear to ear every time I see one.
|
The only Daihatsu K-trucks I've seen live were Hijets.

WANT.
I can totally see converting one of those into my own rolling toolbox. It might even fit through the doorways at work, though getting out of the elevator might require a 43-point turn. I'm watching the race, thinking about an aerocap on the bed. Uniquely, it would be taller than it is wide. Uncharted territory, not so much a kammback as a kammfin. |
Kammfin... I like the sound of that...
|
Oh heck yea, put me down for one of those.

Kei trucks aren't uncommon around here, but this is still the only Midget I have seen. I think the guy wanted $6000 or so for it, and it was an automatic to boot. |
Dude!! Thanks for sharing.
Way cool. I have never seen one of these.

Good fun !
I wish we see more of modest car racing just for fun available to everyone here and there. |
Here's VW T1 (microbus) from 1963 chasing and passing a Porsche 911 GT3 and an Aston Martin :):

Ley T6 by Paul Jaray, 1922. Unstable in side winds, but developed into such favorites as the Tatra 77 and 87. Maybe those findings could be combined with Craig Vetter's Freedom Machine weight balancing. A stable, narrow four wheel vehicle may come out of it. |
