Radiator for 1st gen Insight?
 

The rad shop I use says this is an Insight only part according to their catalog. But catalogs have been wrong before, so can anyone tell me for sure if this is an Insight only item, or can a Civic rad be used or made to fit without butchering anything? I am not having any luck finding a replacement around here. Thanks! :snail:

I'd imagine any old heater core would probably cool the 1l engine. :)

It's hard to say for sure but it looks a lot like the Civic VX radiator and the CRX HF radiator, both are small, "half size" radiators, not sure about mounting points tho, also if you are ordering the part new from the dealer the VX has the more expensive radiator! but auto part stores should be able to get it, otherwise it's $216 Honda Automotive Parts

Looks like it's south of the border I will be a shoppin'! Thanks guys, I can't find anyone with one around here. I'll order one and have it delivered to my buddy's car lot in Wash state, then get his tech to install it when I go for a visit. Easy!
