It was a record day for me! I set a new record for a medium trip (10-49mi.) AND long trip (50+mi.)

I went 22mi. avg was 84mpg, Stopped to grab a drink from the gas station (without turning the ignition off), and continued to a total of 55mi averaging 75.6mpg!!

On the return trip, I got 65.3mpg (52.7mi) using only .81gal. :)

It was a record day! I only hope to continue this throughout the week to make it a record tank too...

That is some insanely good mpg brotha! That is close to what you averaged on the near perfect stretch of road during our meet!

You aim for a 70 mpg tank, I'll go for a 60 mpg tank. Deal? Deal! :)

You got it! I would LOVE to get 70+ for the tank. However, I'm averaging 63mpg tank right now and I have a long way to go.

Interesting thing is that my car apparently responds really well to absent temps from 60-75degrees vs. colder OR hotter. 80+ degrees SHOULD do better (in theory) but for some reason doesn't seem to produce the numbers.

I'm at a loss for why, but I'm not going to complain at all. Today I've been above 60mpg all day too!
