Releasing an android app to predict fuel savings
 

Hi guys,

I recently released an app on the Android Play Store called Driveline; bit.ly/driveline. The app reverse engineers vehicle efficiency from US legislation data and uses it to predict the fuel consumption of your journey based on what speed you cruise at on the highway. At the moment results are shown for cruise speeds of 60/70/80 mph.

The app has a database containing almost all cars that have been sold within the US over the past 4 years. I will be adding more vehicles in the future.

I would love to hear some feedback; do the app calculations results match the fuel economy readings you see in real life?
