Repping the old school Hondas - 85 CRX HF

Hey everyone, just introducing myself as it seems custom on here.

Been a member at RedPepper for a few years, recently picked up my diamond in the rough...

1985 Honda CRX HF
Complete minus some body panels, rust free, and only 102,000 original miles.

Current EcoMods include;
Swapping the wheel/tire combo for a set of 155/80R13's I've got
Replacing the recessed headlights with flush ones
Get the front plastic back on the car, lol.

I'll post some pictures once I clean it up, but my name is Matt and I'm looking forward to getting my full use out of this forum. With my first CRX (DX, not the HF) I was able to pull 40mpg regularly, and even managed 50+ on one trip, can't wait to see what the HF will do, 2100 rpms in 5th at 70mph, lol, silly.

Picture of all my cars (only one of the HF so far).

Front to Back: 1987 CRX DX, 1985 CRX HF, 1985 Civic DX Hatch (for sale), 1986 Celica Supra (broken gas guzzler)

I used to be on redpepperracing as well but didn't agree with the racing part, good info though.
the 1984 civic dx hatch I used to drive I had a life time average of 42.2mpg, still have the car but it was totaled by a pickup, also had a 1985 crx hf that I just sold to my brother, the big downside of them is that as they age they start to burn oil due to it only having 2 rings instead of 3 so at 190,000 miles I spent $400 and had a good used engine and tranny installed by a local shop and it drives great.
